I grew up in El Paso, Texas in a small modest home located in the Northeast section of the city. El Paso is unique place where culture, military, and desert reside together. I am very excited to know the Franklin Graham as made El Paso one of his stops to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus is very well known in El Paso. He is called upon for many different occasions, holidays, and other events. This time though, Jesus will be called upon for a real relationship in order to transform lives, and to make Him known throughout the greater El Paso area. I have posted below the crusade so that you can let others know.
Bilingual evangelistic event slated in El Paso. The April 5-6 Greater El Paso Festival of Hope will feature messages by evangelist Franklin Graham, translated live from the platform by Galo Vasquez, director of Latin American Ministries with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. Vasquez has served as Graham’s translator during evangelistic events in Central and South America, but the 2011 Festival de Esperanza in Los Angeles marked the only other occasion in the United States when he has provided on-platform translation. One-third of the churches involved in the El Paso festival are Spanish-speaking congregations. The festival will be held at the University of Texas-El Paso’s Don Haskins Center.
