As we studied Ephesians 1:3 last evening, I was reminded this morning about Paul as he penned this letter. He has just finished up a missionary journey so the words are full of the excitement from his explorations and church planting expositions.
I am reminded when a missionary from abroad comes home and delivers a report from what God is doing in a far away land. They come so full of fire and Holy Spirit fire and it gives us a boost of spiritual energy to know that while we are here at home serving, worshipping, and being the church, missionaries are doing the same in other places. We are truly a global church.
Paul (to me) is that missionary explaining how much God want us to engage in the spiritual world to receive what He has already given-Spiritual Blessings in Christ. Now that is exciting
